About the Project
This project went beyond a simple redesign of NameSilo’s logged-in interface. Alongside improving the overall dashboard and navigation, it included several sub-projects such as streamlining bulk domain operations, rethinking DNS management, and optimizing the transfer process. The goal was to simplify complex workflows, reduce support requests, and deliver a cleaner, more intuitive user experience. My role covered UX research, mapping user journeys, and creating prototypes for both the main redesign and the individual feature improvements.
The Goal
Simplify navigation and make complex operations (domain transfers, DNS settings, bulk actions) more understandable for users.
My Process
  • Analyzed problems
reviewed interface, user feedback, support tickets.
  • Mapped solutions
built flows and wireframes to simplify key tasks.
  • Tested & refined
prototypes with users, fixed pain points.
  • Final design
clean UI, shorter flows, easier navigation.
Result
  • Simplified navigation: core flows became shorter with fewer clicks.
  • Updated terminology and labels lowered the entry barrier for new users.
  • DNS updates, transfers, and bulk operations now take ~30–40% less time.
  • Consistent UI design system (typography, grids, states, empty screens).
  • Support tickets like “where do I find this?” dropped by ~20–25%.
  • Improvements scaled smoothly across a large global user base.
